The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle

Once in a while, I open this book wherever a chapter on the page will be, and read a few paragraphs to another...then, I can not STOP reading. Mr.Murakami's words are like a magic! Mr.Jay Rubin, the translater of the English novel did a wonderful job, I believe. Yes, I do have read this book in Japanese many times. The funny thing is that I do the same thing in English too. Sometimes my vocabulary is not enough, and I need to guess the word or look it up in the dic. A good thing is I don't need to rush, because I already knew the story. You might think that I am wasting a time? I hope not I am. This is a good training for me to maintain my "English brain". I need to keep it up as fresh. Well the other good thing is watching movies. Unfortunately, I don't meet or get socialized with the naitve speakers (and even Japanese people!? haha!)
